'Easyfundraising' :
How
does it work?
Whenever your supporters 'click-through' to a retailer's website from the
easyfundraising site and then make a purchase, the retailer will donate a
percentage of the cost of their order, but at no extra cost
to the purchaser. Donations range from 0.5 - 15%
of the purchase price, or with some categories such as Insurance, a specific
cash value. Your supporters shop online as normal and do not pay a
penny extra for their transaction.
Why
do retailers make free donations?
It seems generous, but as the costs associated with 'virtual shopping' are
greatly reduced - online there's no shop, heating, electricity, rates,
shop-fitting, salesperson and so on - because of this, many retailer are more
than happy to help support good causes when a new online customer is introduced
to them.
What
will it cost our members & supporters to use/join?
Nothing. There are no joining fees or monthly
subscriptions and they can use our site as little or as often as they like to
raise funds for you.
